On September 14th, the South Side Renaissance Bus Tour, led by Jon Howell, brought together community members to celebrate the transformation and revitalization of Youngstown’s South Side. The tour began at South High School and guided participants through seven key sites: South High School, Oak Hill Collaborative, Ford Nature Center, Youngstown Playhouse, St. Patrick Church, Bernard Street Housing Development, and Glenwood Grounds and Corridor. This event provided a unique opportunity for attendees to witness the positive changes and ongoing efforts to bring stability and new life to the South Side. The enthusiasm and support of the community were evident, showcasing a renewed spirit of unity and progress for Youngstown.
